Counseling is a special relationship where you can pause with me to experience being heard, understood, cared for, and accepted. I believe we are shaped by the unique relationships, past and present, in our family, community, and culture. And I also fully believe that we grow, heal, and change in the context of healthy relationships. I aim to provide a safe and respectful place to honor your story and journey toward changes you desire without judgment—hallmarks of a trusting, healthy relationship. With this in mind, together, we’ll understand and make sense of the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that impact your inner life and relationships with others. We’ll build on your strengths and nurture the personality structures that contribute to a flourishing life.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counseling Associate and joined Alliant Therapy Group in 2021. I draw from attachment research, neuroscience, and depth psychology traditions and use culturally relevant experiences to bring about growth and change. My counseling background and experience include relationship challenges, anxiety, grief, loss, and religion and spirituality concerns. Holding to the truth that there is always hope, my style is to listen with empathy to understand your inner world and remain present with you to grow, heal, and contribute to your well-being.
