Tana
MA
Hi,
my name is Tana, and I am currently completing a Master’s in Mental
Health Counseling at Northwestern University. Before the counseling
path, my experience was in non-profit and consulting work. I have
assisted individuals and communities in navigating challenging
interpersonal dynamics, life transitions, and witnessed the personal
transformation that comes from meeting one’s trials with the hope
that change and flourishing are possible. I am honored to walk
alongside you, to hear your story, and support your wellness.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from multiple methods depending on client needs and centering on the richness and complexity of each individual’s unique experience, including multicultural aspects of identity and building on strengths. I believe that the intricate layers of your inner life hold meaning, that relationships and outer systemic conditions influence your reality, and that you have strengths and capacities to build upon.
This is your journey, and I accompany you with nonjudgement and compassion, whether you are healing from the past, coping with the present, or growing toward the future.
