Hello, I’m Tana, and I am honored to walk alongside you, hear your story, and support your wellness. I am currently completing a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University and previously worked in the technology and nonprofit sectors. I have assisted individuals and groups in navigating challenging interpersonal dynamics and life transitions and have witnessed the personal transformation that comes from meeting one’s trials with the hope that growth and flourishing are possible.

My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from multiple disciplines depending on client needs and centering on each individual’s unique experience, including multicultural aspects of identity and building on strengths. Counseling methods I utilize include psychodynamic, mindfulness and acceptance approaches, and cognitive behavioral therapy.

I believe the intricate layers of your inner life hold meaning, relationships and outer systemic conditions influence your reality, and you have strengths and capacities to build upon. This is your journey toward greater self-awareness, and I accompany you with non-judgement and compassion.
